LAist Interview: The Hacienda Mafia

haciendamafia.jpg I met up with the Hacienda Prints Collective at the opening night of the Chemical Brothers tour at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC. There they were, a trio of guys from LA at an incredible event in NYC, doing live screening of t-shirts commemorating the night.

Hacienda Prints at the Chemical Brothers in Manhattan - Photo Hosted at BuzznetNot only were they doing t-shirts, they were also taking lots of pics (see to the left) as well as documenting the tour on video. They were on the entire tour with the Chemical Brothers which finished up in LA at the Nocturnal Festival on September 29th.

Tonight the Hacienda Prints Collective will be doing what they do at the Detour Festival so check them out there, also check out their website where they have pretty cool original designs as well.

We talked about how great the ChemBros were, the state of music festivals today, other projects Hacienda is involved with, and what's cool about getting a t-shirt printed for you right in front of you.
