Datarock & Honeycut @ The Echo 10/3

DATAROCK

I showed up halfway through Honeycuts set, which was a bummer, because i have seen them play and they're show is fantastic. But i was there in time to hear my favorite, "Crowded Avenue" and the boys were killing it like always. I love those guys.

I was really unfamiliar with Datarock. I knew that my girlfriend liked them, and thats about it. But they nailed it with their heavily textured and layered anthems, getting everyone into a sing-a-long kinda mood. The whole place chanting along with the red track suited out pack of wild men.

I hate the echo. There's barely enough room to inhale a breath of air, and even if you did the air would be stale, musty, and reeking like someone who needs a shower. Good luck getting from point A to point B inside that hell hole. But of course, none of that is the bands fault, i just felt like whining.

After the jump there's a whole crapload of pics.
