Man, I wish I lived down there still so I could Cinco whenever! Pure comfort food, with a bit of spice.

Cinco rules (huevos rancheros!). Johnnie's rules (onion rings and vanilla shake!).

But someone please explain Tito's to me. I've tried it numerous times and... I just don't get it.

or johnnies which is right next door which closes at 3am. i dont eat at cinco too much...just take it and run! but honestly, it's one of the safer 24/7 mexican joints.

Cinco de Mayo has, believe it or not, really good ceviche. You get a mountain of lime cooked/marinated fish with tons of avocado. Slather Tapatio on top. Mmm.

Agreed! Next time one finds themselves groaning when all ones buddies want to go eat Titos (which is great, but not even close to a real taco), Cinco is a great alternative where you can order and eat your food before your friends at Titos inch a foot forward in that monster line.

While I agree that the burritos at Cinco were so-so (i had carne asada and it was a little fatty), the tortas are excellent to the extreme.
