Festival sucked. $5 to get in to just wait in lines for overpriced food/drinks. I asked the woman taking the money at the gate what the charity was and she didn't know. Waste of time.

They should have just called it the Italian inspired Brooklyn festival....and PERONI (one r) for six dollars? really?

Except the zeppole was pretty good. At least vito's was there, but not the man himself. nice selection of new york/italian restaurants, but the title of the festival like you said, very misleading (although my reasons are different). But to go there for food that is already available at the actual restaurants in LA for more money (on top of the admission fee and the fact that they couldn't get validation at the Hollywood and Highland center...) Yeah they say it's for a good cause but...

going for the food isn't probably the best bet. The cannoli (made by some wonderful people with the LAPD...protect and SERVE!) pictured was better tasting than the cannoli from the actual bakery, which had prepackaged everything...

Is it just me, or does that first pic look like a gilded Lee Majors?
