Weed Review: Afgooey

Afgooey
We bought this from a dude sitting on a bean bag chair watching a plasma. Afgooey is a well known strain that has been circulated in Los Angeles for years and can be found with regularity at many dudes living rooms and medical clinics.

Pre-Smoke Examination:
The nugs are small, no larger than a Nickel in circumference, are extremely dense. It smells pungent like a Christmas tree in a freshly painted room, and when squeezed you can tell that the nugs are fresh. There isn't a lot of leaf, showing that the buds were carefully manicured.

Post-Smoke Examination:
It's hard to break it up by hand, and hard to prepare it with a grinding tool. It's so sticky and dense that it just gums up the works. Once you're smoking it, the weed burns on the slow side, and you may need to or three hits to clear the bowl. The taste is of the "deep forest" variety, and has a a high that can knock you on your ass for hours.

The high feels like your skull is being palmed by Shaquille Oneil, and it lasts a good 4 hours. The weed lives up to the "gooey" part of its name as its so dense and sticky that it gooey-ified my grinder, and gummed up my scissors. At $60 an 8th its well worth the cost, and sure to keep your head in the clouds.

Look for Afgooey in your local pot guy's living room.

By any chance did you see 60 Minutes this week? They did a segment on medical marijuana in California which was very interesting. I also saw an article on the 'problems' resulting from current laws in Business Week. California, you've got our attention.

sorry that aint Afgooey
