I watched Kid Nation. It was surprising better than I expected. Well thought out and much better character development/introduction than, say, a Survivor premiere. And since there is obviously no way that CBS would show anything that would remind viewers of allegations that they disobeyed child labor laws I think they might actually have a new successful franchise. Rumor has it that other countries want to buy the format. I'm sure that CBS floated that info but I could see the dutch going for it - that's where all the reality show ideas came from in the first place.

Thanks polaroidgirl for the report and insight, I'm glad it didn't disappoint because it sure had the potential to do so.

Also, thanks to Mark who pointed out that "Earl" is a repeat tonight despite what my newsfeed told me, oh, and I also somehow misspelled NBC.

Thanks for reading!
