I'm Still Not Gonna Watch Desperate Housewives

How desperate is this campaign?

When I read in Extra, Extra yesterday about the Desperate Housewives marketing onslaught at my local Ralphs parking lot in Valencia, I just had to check it out. I chuckled when I saw the parking stripes -- and I have to admit it was the first advertising that caught my attention in awhile.

But I'm still not going to watch the lame show.

Nice try, though, ABC. More photos after the jump.

Do you think Valencia's desperate housewives drive Toyota and Dodge trucks to their construction jobs?

In the right demographic?

There are about four aisles striped with Desperate Housewives advertising at the Ralphs in Granary Square in Valencia, off McBean Blvd.

For those who do watch and care about the show, the ladies of Wisteria Lane will be back:

Sunday is D-day

And one more for the road. This advertising gimmick is just desperate. (Sorry I couldn't resist.)

Where will they advertise next?
