Fredo's Greatest Hits

April 2007 -- Gonzales says, "I don't recall" 72 times at Senate hearing

It's Friday! And it's also the final day on the job for Bush-tushy-wipin', habeas corpus trashin', eavesdroppin', worst-AG-ever Alberto Gonzales.

Nicknamed "Fredo" by the Commander in Disbelief either because his name is kinda like Alfredo, or perhaps after the weakest Corleone in The Godfather, Gonzales became a Bush Yes-man in the mid-'90s. Gonzales' crimes accomplishments are many. He assisted in obfuscating a drunk-driving conviction from the former Texas governor's record and failed to interfere with a record number of Texas executions, including that of at least one mentally retarded inmate. He shit-kicked his way up the ranks with "43" to establish perhaps the most liberal interpretation of Constitutional law in American history. That's right. When it comes to applying the law of the land to his own administration, Bush brings new definition to the "L" word.

While the mainstream media's doing its job breaking down the series of delusions and lies wrought upon the nation last night by the president, we've dug up some classic bullshit to properly bid former Attorney General Gonzales farewell. Go away. Forever.

More video and Gonzo-bashing after the jump.
