Has anyone tried the BBQ place on Fig and Cesar Chavez in dowtown? I think it's called BB King BBQ...I've been dying to try it for years but haven't ever stopped...

if you never had the pleasure of neptune bbq on anaheim in long beach, you never had good lousiana bbq. sublime, hot, mlk and jfk on the walls and open really late. wonderful people and i think longingly of the best there ever was.

If you want to get as close to Southern barbecue as is possible in SoCal, check out Ribs USA in Burbank on Olive. TO. DIE. FOR.

Grab some peanuts from the barrells on your way in, then spit your shells on the floor until the barbecued animal of your choice comes to your picnic table smothered in barbecue sauce. And don't forget the buffalo fries (with extra ranch).

Feel free to invite me along, also. :-)
