that was very cool elise! i'm glad you were able to explain the origins of some of the ingredients, too. johnny--i don't think this article was about this kind of treat being new, but perhaps something many people haven't heard of or tried or overlooked out of uncertainty. i love that east hollywood is the "westside" in comparison to the sgv. i suppose it's all relative.
