Fiesta Hermosa
This weekend Hermosa Beach will once again host it's 3-day arts festival formerly known as Fiesta del Artes. It's going to be a hot one, so the cool breezes will make this festival the place to be. The arts and crafts on sale are irresistable, so bring money. The food vendors are not that impressive; I prefer the local restaurants, and the beer garden really gets out of control. Orange International Street Fair
This 3-day festival looks like a trip. The area is divided into different countries of the world, including Ireland, Greece, Germany, Mexico, "Polynesian", England and "All American". Long Beach Greek Festival
Live music, dancing, and what the Greeks do best - food.

Los Pobladores - Walk to Los Angeles
This event begins with a reenactment of the 1781 trek of the original settlers of Los Angeles, known as Los Pobladores. Recruited in Mexico by agents of Governor the nine-mile walk from the San Gabriel Mission (428@. Mission Ave., San Gabriel) to found El Pueblo at the current Olvera Street.. At the end of the walk, Olvera Street, there will be live music, food and artists booths at El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historic Site.
