The pictures I tried to take just don't do the eclipse any justice...but is was spectacular in person. I think that NASA's website has footage of it though.

it was great! unfortunately, I was only able to catch the last 15 minutes of it (but still awesome). Oh and my dog did go crazy, he kept barking the whole night.

andy, if it's any comfort, the echo park ducks were freaking out, at least. i watched it by myself on the fire escape and kept hoping someone would walk by so i could stage-whisper to them and point it out. it was just so stunning i wanted someone else to show it to.

I was hoping to hear some rambunctious coyote action -- or at least the local Echo Park dogs freaking out... but, alas, nothing but crickets. Very cool to see the red-orange, fully eclipsed moon. ("once upon a time, there WAS light in my life...")

I've been checking it out for the last 30 minutes. it's fucking amazing. been trying to snap some pics but i think i might be a little to drunk to get any good ones :\
