<description>&lt;p&gt;Action vs words- our mayor does not take a backseat to anyone in saying whatever will appease his audience and doing the opposite.

This massive construction boom all over LA, which he actively encourages and supports, has destroyed so much greenery that it makes his rhetoric pure bs.  

It&apos;s sad to see this city become a mass of concrete, and to hear this nonsense is just ludicrous.  &lt;/p&gt;</description>

I call shenanigans.  This sounds like the kind of number you get if you don&apos;t measure on a per capita basis and don&apos;t count the urban industry that supports rural areas.  But if you want to use these numbers to argue that those with influence in urban areas have the potential to make big improvements, I&apos;m all ears.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
