This guy got me into Jazz altogether. I took a class at SMC a few years back on Jazz appreciation and the first day the professor played Delilah by Clifford Brown and Max Roach. And i just felt the music go straight through me. He is still to this day my favorite drummer. You will be missed. Rest in Paradise Max Roach.
