by "hosting" I assume you mean all the bs crap dancing girl fox promo shite-fest leading up to kickoff so who cares? no one I know watches any of that. no way he will be announcing the game itself which is all that matters... that and the commercials.

but hey with TiVo just double arrow through all the debris. more problematic to me are the bugs and pop-ups that crawl and creep and flash on the screen DURING THE GAME, thats why I hate fox baseball coverage. always plugging some crap reality show or prison break or 24. crap crap crap..... not to mention their annoying and loud neon-robot-graphics package that spin through the air before virtually every play...

Seacrest is popular the same way songs are popular now. Not because they are good but because the radio stations play them so much. What he lacks in entertainment value he makes up for in visibility. He's popular because he's everywhere and then he's everywhere because he's popular. It's the dog both wagging and chasing it's own tail.

Seacrest had a TV show on Fox a few years back. God awful. I'm not a football fan, but I will be praying for the nation subjected to 3 hours of Seacrest.

I don't understand how one man can have 10 different jobs in television/radio:

-- KIIS FM Radio show
-- American top 40 Radio show

-- American Idol TV Show
-- New Year's Rockin' Eve on ABC w/ Dick Clark

-- Academy Awards pre-show on E! entertainment
-- Grammy Awards pre-show on E! entertainment

Now the Superbowl??

God help America.
