And that truly was the beauty, he was doing it for himself and being himself, not for fame or money.He had a knack for describing common place things and events, really taking us there with his photographic memory. Unfortunately, he didn't handle his fame well. I feel honored to be his cousin, and know many of the Kerouacs are eccentric, creative people, which makes them interesting. Great read Raymi, aka, Lauren White.

Thanks Raymi, you are awesome and I also can sorta see a family resemblance due to that big fluffy cat he's cradling. Perhaps that is Cid's grandfather's first cousin.
