I loved both the book and the movie, but...

Out of idle curiosity, why is there a random picture of River Tam in the middle of this article?

I have, heretofore, let my friends convince me that I should wait to check out this movie when it is released on DVD. Forget that - I'm going to go see it now, like I originally intended and vote with my dollars (which is the only thing the entertainment industry responds to.)

I, too, enjoyed this movie. I didn't know what I was getting myself into (to be honest, the trailer made the film look kinda bad). As I was walking out of the theater I commented that I should make more of an effort to check out movies that aren't heavily hyped. That way if the movie's bad, I don't feel like it was such a big disappointment. Hah.

I totally agree that Stardust is an instant classic. It is so very well done and everyone in the theatre I saw it in loved it. I am really frustrated that this film didn't get the opening weekend it deserved. I want more Neil Gaiman movies!

I was on a date the other night and I drove by this dude pumping gas and I was all "holy crap is that Mr. Marcus?"

fortunately my date was clueless as to my question.

Except the fantasy in that film is that blacks and Asians actually like each other.
