Ladies and Gentlemen: The Slo Motion Wave

For something that is so reviled, The Wave has had no problem staying around. For every one person who says they hate The Wave, there seems to be dozens who are more than willing to do it, if not start it.

Earlier our Sports Editor Adam Rose presented a beautiful photo essay about the AVP finals held yesterday at Manhattan Beach. In his post (for those of you who actually read what he wrote and didn't just look at the lovely pictures) he talked about the Slo Motion Wave.

The PA announcer joked with the players, and even got the crowd to do The Wave at different speed.

Here we have video evidence (from AVP earlier this month in Michigan) of this strange and wonderful phenomenon which might single-handedly change our stance on The Wave.
