Did you say puppets? We like puppets.
"Titus the Clownicus" - In the hands of The Actors' Gang, Shakespeare's bloodiest and most macabre drama (Titus Andronicus) becomes rip-roaring family fare. Titus the Clownicus is leader of the Red Nose Army. He returns home with his entourage of clowns and puppets victorious after defeating the Green Noses in the Battle of the Clowns, but immediately sets off to avenge the deaths of his sons, and the clown wars escalate.

365 Days/365 Plays at MacArthur Park
Put on by The Smart Gals, their experience begins at Mama’s Hot Tamales, a nonprofit organization that has been elemental in the MacArthur Park's restoration. Come to Mama’s, read the plays (don’t fret, they’re short), get a map, then set out across the street to find our incognito installations in MacArthur Park, an under served and underused public space. They hope that in you trying to find the plays, you will discover the park. You may want to bring some cash to ride the paddle boats, and of course some tamale money.

Sunday, August 12
