TIVO Alert: Cute Dalmatian takes Over LA Fire Dept.

Wilshire the puppy sits in Fire Station 29 in Los Angeles

Tonight, Dog Whisperer on the National Geographic Channel presents a story close to home at 9:00 p.m. We just watched a screener and it was a joy. A family drops off a Dalmatian off at Fire Station 29 on Wilshire Blvd. and with good intentions, the firemen of the station took the 3-month-old puppy in.

Like, oh my god, so cute! But incredibly wild and unruly.

Appropriately named Wilshire, the hyperactive pup took over the firehouse, knocking over little children, eating the kitchen food when the firemen were on calls, barking all night long and running onto Wilshire Blvd.

Wilshire at the dinner tableEnter Cesar Millan, a.k.a. The Dog Whisperer from the National Geographic Channel, who rehabilitates dogs by training the owners to properly raise and treat dogs. Eventually, Wilshire is exercising on the treadmill every morning and "stopping, dropping and rolling" at preschool demonstrations.

Watching Cesar Millan work his magic is incredible. Next time we get a dog, we're buying the full season of Dog Whisperer on DVD.
