DVD Tuesday: Angelenos! Vent your spleen!!

Heidi Dumbfuck and Spencer Dick

In the last year, HBO has lost four of my favorite shows for various reasons--The Sopranos, Extras, Deadwood and Rome. Do you hear that sound, HBO? That sound is Showtime creeping up on you. At least the second season of Rome is now available on DVD. If you like gratuitous sex mixed with your gratuitious violence (and who doesn't?), then Rome is the show for you.

One of the last great seasons of The Simpsons is also in stores today. I have four words for you: Homer Simpson Grease Salesman. The Muppet Show was one of my favorites as a kid so it's going into the shopping bag. Ditto the second season of The Hills just so I can further stew in my contempt for that hilarious douche Spencer Pratt (was there ever a more apt last name?).

Rome - The Complete Second Season
The Simpsons - The Complete Tenth Season
The Muppet Show - Season Two
Disturbia
TMNT
The Film Crew: Killers from Space

It really is the last great season of the Simpsons. Its a sad day, really, until I sit down to watch the Max Power episode.
