A hat tip to Quint over at AICN for alerting me to this little bit of coolness happening next week. Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz are two of my absolutely favorite movies from the past few years. Shaun has been in heavy rotation at home and Fuzz will surely follow now that it's out on DVD.

Starting next Sunday night, you'll have the chance to see them both as God intended--back-to-back and on the big screen! The New Beverly is screening them as a double-feature from August 12th through the 14th (in fact, do yourself a favor and go ahead and bookmark the Bev's awesome schedule right now...here).

For the true fanboy, director Edgar Wright will be at the Virgin Megastore at Hollywood and Highland next Tuesday to sign DVDs of the just-released Hot Fuzz. He'll also be introducing the Shaun/Fuzz twin-bill on the 12th. See you there! I'm the guy in the jeans and a T-shirt.
