I too am so sad to see the California Patients Group go down. I can only hope that the good people there find solid legal council and that the patients in Hollywood can find their medicine easily elsewhere. This is a fight that we must keep fighting, Remembering that our government uses the Consitution for their arguments, so therefore they must see that our fight is completely Consitutional and that the Federal government does not, absolutely does not, hold power over State law. That is the very essence of what this country was originally founded upon, States rights to dictate their borders with only the Federal government offering council. The DEA has absolutely no right to infer on California Senate act 420, or hold any legal weight in this argument.
The sad fact is that an election is coming up, and the conservatives have to make up for a lot of broken promises to the frightened Seniors of this country. They are, after all, the biggest demographic in this country today especially when it comes to voting. I know the Good People of the California Patients Group; these people are not thugs or black marketeers. Unfortunately, the prick trying to tweek the old lady vote doesn't, and carelessly demonifies the drug culture, and hurts those involved with it. It doesn't matter to them, the prescriptions available by Pfizer and Libby are still available; who cares what works for other people.

It is sad, and I wish there was more I could do other than lament another casuality in "the war on drugs". They have guns and they are allowed to shoot me. All I can do is to keep on smoking and hope I don't get shot in the process. Still, I am opimistic. We will be free to get our medicine without hassle one day. Once They figure out a way to hide it from their consituancy and still make money.
