One man decided to stash a couple of the South Asian monkeys in his underwear to get them into the US. This week, National Geographic looks at animal smuggling schemes caught at LAX. Authorities there have found the exotic -- rare butterflies, leopards and more. But they also catch the standard fare, like overfished Chilean sea bass (aka Patagonian toothfish), destined for dinner tables.

That monkey smuggler tried his trick in 2002, so he didn't have the aid of these pocket-equipped briefs.
