ticketmaster website is dooooown

The system is down, I repeat, the system is down. Anyone care to voice their thoughts or views on Ticketmaster? Of course, they won't be able to hear you; their system is down.

i think my friend and i are to blame on this though. we flooded the website trying to get muse tickets to no avail.

Ticketmaster should be sued for being a monopoly. A $20 ticket ends up being $35-$40 after all the processing/facilitie fees. It's a total racket. F ticketmaster!

Protip: if you flood TM with requests, it will lock you out for some amount of time, looking like it is down. Try using a different browser/computer.

Johnny, there should be a civil suit filed against Ticketmaster. I hate it too how tickets advertised for $20 come out to $30 after fees. Also, has anyone else noticed that there's an extra fee to tickets sold online, but it's not even mentioned when the charges are tallied? You have to do the math and some extra digging around to know it's there.

Despite that, the site better be back up tomorrow morning. Otherwise there are going to be a lot of pissed-off goths (if already weren't before) without Cure tickets.

Everyone who is making comments here has a brain a size of a raisin. If you knew how business venture work you would understand who gets all this money. And its not just Ticketmaster, which gets the smalles piece of the pie. Its the artists, promoters, facilities, managers, and so on and so forth.

what are you talking about? I had no problem getting to www.ticketmaster.com today.

Sure the fees suck. Hell, I'd love it if the tickets were free! But, I've got other things to do than sit in LA traffic, then in a line at the venue box office, just to avoid paying less than the equivalent of 3 gallons of regular unleaded.

Yea... It seems a bit unfair... I am really glad that most of the bands I like go for other alternatives which either charge no processing fee or something like $2, which is WAY more reasonalbe thatn $10. Anyways, the reason that TM gets away with it is cause their the first and biggest.

fuck ~$5 fees for a $10 ticket

fuck $2.50 for TicketFast to get your tickets instantly, like it cost them any extra to send out an email generated by a program

fuck all the bullshit inserts in the mailing envelope that go straight into the trash anyway.. with all the rape fees they charge, they even have to get advertisers to insert fliers? fuck that shit
