That's no rumor -- it's a fact about Zuma Dogg that he himself shares; why else would he live on Ralph's eat-as-you-go groceries and 7-11 hot dogs, and admit he's so tired and hungry he almost passes out, but forces himself to take the bus down to City Hall (to save gas for that tattered old van, which may or may not even run and be insured), to torment the elected inhabitants of said City Hall. Under the impression that his uninformed rants are "educating" the rest of us, the less discerning populace who have to rely on less tawdry media than his foul-mouthed and unfocused rants in Mayor Sam and Zuma Times.

As for the freelance article for the L A Weekly, the fishwrap of L. A., check out Brady Westwater's rather bewildered critique -- i.e., devastation, of this "analysis" of the Grand Avenue project -- in CityWatch. That is an N C publication inherently critical of the doings of our elected politicians, yet finds Zuma's piece so utterly illogical, wrong, unprofessional and laughable, that it puts a nail in the coffin of the Weekly as remotely qualified to call itself a "news"paper.

This is significant far beyond the dubious irritant value of Zuma Dogg himself: how can anyone question the "journalist ethics" of Mirthala or anyone, when almost all the media are either sleazy tabloid gossip sheets, or just plain newsprint in search of a shredding machine?

Rumor is, ZumaDog lives in his van and begs for money, always wears sunglasses and a skullcap. Not a professional image at all.

Is this the person you want working with your kids?
