Sure, their lack of ability to quickly react or even recognize dangerous situations may not really hinder a criminal but it is possible they can divert the perp by some stoner gem like, "Heyyy man, c'mere. C'mere, we have cookies. Yeah you want some chronic too?." This way, the burglar will be slowed down and possibly taken out of commission. </p>
