<p>I was at the game last night with the kids (3 of them). The only thing worse than Lowe's pitching and the lack of timely extra-base hits was the incessant banter from the two hynas behind me and the kids. As they got drunker, their mouths got filthier and the subjects covered more banal. We moved down when the opportunity presented itself.

As for the game? Thank God for Loney and Kemp (depite the error). When did Russell Martin's slump offically start? And why the unexplainable love for Nomar and none for Gonzo?

Phone rings:
Hello?
Hi, it's Ned Colletti. Got any pitchers you're not using right now?
Sure, how about giving us that Kemp kid?
