My Week in Quicktime - Wicked Lotus Ska

I often take short, random Quicktime videos with my camera. The uploads are limited, so they are sometimes abrupt. Here is a little entertainment from Wicked Wednesdays, the Lotus Festival. and Mods and Rockers.

Let's start things off with a clip of Emily Rozek singing the hit showtune, Popular.

Many more after the jump!

Followed by a duet of As Long as You're Mine between Julie Reiber and Adam Lambert.

Here is a super-short interview with Wicked's wizard, John Rubinstein. How charming is he?

Next we move on to the Lotus Festival and their breathtaking Taiko Drummers:

The Lotus Festival's fireworks grand finale.

Lastly, we have the legendary Phil Chen being interviewed by Martin Lewis during the Mods and Rockers Film Festival. Chen is describing how his early ska band, Jimmy James and the Vagabonds were brought to England. They met up with the Who's producer, but their early ska band was molded into soul because nobody was ready for that sound yet. Especially Atlantic Records.
