Eastern Conference Champions Contest

Everyone loves the Eastern Conference Champions and everyone loves LAist on Fridays because for some reason everyone gets super motivated by the upcoming weekend and they post whatever it is that they've been working on all week.

Here it is 4:30pm and we've already busted with 19 posts today and many of them are super awesome. If this were the Eastern Conference, several of those posts would be vying to be the Champ.

Speaking of which, the Eastern Conference Champions are playing at Cinespace on Tuesday for the release party of their upcoming cd Ameritown (listen to "The Box", check out their myspace).

We have a pair of tickets to give away to a random commentor of this post who tells us which of todays LAist post they thought was the champ of the day. Contest ends Monday at noon. Update: The winner will also get the new cd and signed limited edition lithograph - boyeeee.
