Japanese Folding Instructions

So the Japanese have mastered a lot of things that maybe our feeble minds can't handle here in the good ol' USA. One of which is shirt-folding. I have tried this video at home in the morning and at night, sober and wasted (I thought it would be a cool party trick) but alas, it's not my bag.

Of course this never stopped me from buying more shirts or supporting new labels launching here in town for that matter. Which is why I'm excited that the newest one to cross my path is Kid Dangerous (Grime Couture) - a funky line for boys (I'm hoping they start a women's line soon too!). Wednesday night they are having their official launch party at the one and only King King. DJ Franki Chan will be spinning (early set by Larry Vision who I've met and is fantastic) and there is a art exhibit happening as well. Be there or be, well, square.

Tickets are available through Ticket Web and cost $12 in advance.

I saw this a few months ago and have been doing all my T-shirts like this ever since.

This video has been drifting around the Internet since the pre-You Tube era, and I think it's safe to call it one of the only truly life-changing webvideos ever, that is, if we're talking about my life. It made an honest-to-goodness metrosexual of me. Like Johnny above, I've folded all my short sleeve shirts this way since.

KidDangerous looks like every other over-priced over-styled screen printed crap out there...
Do we really think theyre doing something original?
poppin collars? Bout 5 years too late people.
