Tales of Colt 45

"They" (and by they I mean Wikipedia) claim that Billy Dee Williams once rivaled Sidney Poitier as the most popular black actor in America. How many of you also knew that he was once Colt 45's spokesperson? Oh Billy Dee, where are you now?

The above classic commercial is totally fitting considering today's daily email from Thrillist encouraging a visit to a site named, "Tales of Colt 45." It is a really dynamic site, but I mean, do you really need a button at the bottom to find out where you too can purchase Colt 45. I mean, bro, you know where you can get it and if you're a hardcore Colt 45 fan, well then god bless you, the last time I had one was during my "thuggish ruggish" phase the summer of '97 when I was dating a wannabe gangster who was really a Jewish kid going to Rutgers. And is their claim that a night is only legendary if you add Colt 45 really really true? Nonetheless, a good classic commercial about malt liquer is a good way to ease back into work after a long holiday weekend.
