If only all casting calls could be like this. Ninja Warrior (a/k/a Sasuke, airs weeknights at 6:00pm and 10:30pm on G4) is offering one lucky badass a trip to Japan and the right to attempt the show's daunting obstacle course. With all the wanna-be talent in this town -- I'm looking at you, reality TV "stars" and celebutants-- it's nice to see that somebody still values real skillz. According to the show's PR people, those would include "all the necessary 'Ninja Warrior' attributes, including strength, speed, agility, flexibility, stamina and the passion to compete among some of the finest athletes in the world."
Prospective contestants have until July 29th to upload a demo video on Ninja Warrior's website. The show will select ten semifinalists, and viewers can vote for the top three online (hint: now's the time to start your ninja profile on Myspace and invite loads of random people to be your friend). The final three will compete on "Attack of the Show" and the winner gets flown to the Land of the Rising Sun and will have a one hour special on G4 about their whole adventure.
But wait! There's more! The winner will be tackling a four-stage obstacle course that only two people have conquered in the show's ten year history. Among the hundreds of previous challengers are world-class decathletes and Olympic medalists.

This show is great. Puts most other physical contest shows to shame. That course is a MONSTER.
