my secret to saving money on basil is to have a boyfriend who works with gardens and therefore brings it to my in the summertime by the armload. last year i made so much pesto... i'll save you some when he brings some around, which might be in the next week or so! i'm definitely going to hit up the farmer's market this weekend--too much summer partying has my body crying out for veggies and fruit and nice lean, clean, proteins.

Thanks for the great recipes! I often end up blowing my $20 on fruit -- peaches, nectarines and then have them for dessert!
