The Obon Festival still continues at the Zenshuji Buddhist Temple today from 11am to 8pm. You can get there easily by taking the Metro Subway to Union Station, then walk 3 blocks West from Alameda. The address is:

I'm heading out to the festival today. Aren't the taiko drummers amazing? I'll try to get some live footage...possibly an interview.

Great pics! What do you shoot with?

I shoot with a lowly Nikon D50 SLR. In this case I was using a Tamron 300mm lens (not the newest DSLR one which is an awesome lens).
