It's very simple, really. LAist and other cowardly Internet bloggers make fun of Clay because it gets them hits. How? Because the Claymates and the Clayhaters come to their sites to either trash him, or defend him. More hits equals more ad revenue. I know it's a sport now, either defending or trashing Clay, but seriously, there are much more productive ways of spending time and/or entertaining yourself. Have a nice day!

Clay is hilarious and one of the best entertainers of today. His concerts are unbelievable. Funny Clay at work...go to youtube and find the Clay Aiken Singer or Comedian video...a recap of the best of banter from his Christmas show. It showcases his rapport with the audience beyond his singing talent. Also look for the LAA video from last nites Houston concert...he wrote it, he sings it...you will truly be amazed.

Clay Aiken is hilarious!The guy can sing ANYTHING and make it entertaining and fun. Videos of the tour can be found on youtube. They just put up Lover All Alone which Clay wrote. He BLEW the roof off Jones Hall. Be sure to watch for Clay's upcoming appearence on "Are You Sarter Than A 5th Grader? He is playing for The Buble/Aiken Foundation.

What an amazing talent Clay is! Not only can he sing almost better than anyone, but he commands an audiences' attention and by the sheer power of his personality and his wonderful humor. He's so at ease on stage and in his own skin. I Love 'em. I would love to see Clay have his own TV show.

Thanks for posting this very clear rendering of an amateur video. Wow.....Clay Aiken is hysterical. Where was he singing this? It seemed like it was outdoors. I guess I have always thought of him as the most talented male singer from all of the IDOL show ...and as a humanitarian who has his own foundation for kids with autism. Also, I have seen articles about his work as an ambassador for UNICEF. I didn't really know that he has such a great sense of humour. I don't think it brought out the best of the voice I remember from Idol, but, it sure showed a multi-talented performer. It appears that he has a very long career ahead of him. The songs Clay Aiken is singing in that video are all works of OTHER artists, not his own. You really don't grasp what a parody is, do you? Perhaps some of your blog comments here will enlighten you.
