LAst Night's Action: ... and, we're back!

Two of the biggest names in baseball: Rafael Furcal and Jarrod Saltalamacchia.Dodgers 7, Braves 6 - It feels like a good summer in LA. The weather is hot, the Dodgers are in first, three of the Blue Crew are going to the All Star Game, and everybody has the day off for the 4th. Well, almost everybody. The Dodgers will be back in action tonight and hope for some more on-field fireworks. Last night they connected for 13 hits to power home 7 runs. Wilson Betemit provided some major firepower, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, including a two run blast in the second.

Rangers 8, Angels 3 - Anaheim had been dominating Texas this season. Last night, they ran into a buzzsaw named Brad Wilkerson. The Ranger's first baseman punished Halo pitching with three home runs and six RBIs.

Storm 90, Sparks 71 - Los Angeles was already dealing with bad conditions when they ran into this storm. With their best player sitting out pregnant and another All Star, Chamique Holdsclaw, announcing a surprise retirement last month, they'll have to weather out some harsh days.

Elsewhere - Will America reclaim it's long lost title on our national holiday? ... And will we finally win the world championships in American football? ... Could the Ducks get any tougher? ... Is Bonds is there yet? ... Did we go on vacation
