While the rest of us have spent the last few days going about our everyday lives, several hundred die-hard Paul McCartney fans have been braving the elements to secure their entrance into Amoeba for tonight's "secret show". Last night the store gave our three hundred vouchers for armbands. Today on Ivar there are at least a few hundred more people hoping for a chance to see Paul too. In line, a happy Suzanne Petersen has her voucher. Brian Kaewert is the first in the stand-by line. Manager Chris Carmena filled us in on the system. This is the week to be an Amoeba employee. All two hundred of them are invited for tonight's in-store performance. I wonder who is on Paul's personal list? Good luck to everyone in the stand-by line. Some of them will get to enjoy the show, while others will be left outside to try to find a spot to watch though the windows. Paul is definitely going to feel the love in LA.
You know who also will feel love, those who are willing to sell their wristbands to people like this guy.
Lots more pictures after the jump.

awesome photos! this calls for crazy screaming Paris "fan" from the Kimmel show...
"Braving the elements?" What the fuck does that suppose to mean? 88 degree weather during the day, 65 degree at night? I waited overnight when it was 20 degrees outside for free Sufjan tickets at the Kennedy Center in DC. Pathetic.
One of the elements these people faced might include the myriad beggars strewn across Sunset (the Jbox across the street is a common loitering hole [i think that was a good pun {I know you love parenthesis}]).
