2)Nomar will be benched before Pierre. Even though Nomar is more popular, his batting average is better than Betamit&apos;s, even though Betamit is really the better hitter. It&apos;s not all about BA. And Pierre just makes too much damn money.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;The most exciting thing to watch in recent years has been the emergence of Dodger youth from your boy Russ M to Ethier and now Kemp, Loney, and Abreu. Well, that and wondering if and when Brad Penny and/or D. Lowe are gonna crack. 

Nomar and JP can slump all they want -- their experience and leadership is definitely needed out there. it&apos;s not like Jeff Kemp is any kind of admirable role model. 

Loney is on his way to player of the week if he keeps this up. And the Dodgers are in first place.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
