It's so true. I absolutely *detest* it when people say ignorant things like "oh, LA is full of bleached-blond boob job culturally bankrupt gold diggers." Um, hello? L.A. is probably the most ethnically and culturally diverse city in the entire world. Obviously the lack of sunshine in whatever shitty city they're from is affecting their ability to make correct observations. But I don't let it get to me. ;)

I've been saying this about L.A. for 20+ years. Los Angeles is a very complex situation: many cultures/languages, every type of architecture, wild ranging topology, endless museums and cultural institutions, endless performances, etc.
