The upbeat songs have added texture to their set that was lacking before when it was mostly moody songs. My friend, who had never seen them before, commented that some of the instrumentations reminded him of Arcade Fire. Alex Church is certainly growing more comfortable in his role as dreamy frontman, but I think he can try a little harder to charm the fans. The set ended awkwardly, but the encore was strong and rewarding.
