We've said it before... the kids today get Everything. Now they're getting VIPed for doing what skateboarders, GG Allin, and Andrew WK have been doing for years - bleeding!
In our day we would have done ANYTHING to get VIP access to a sweet music festival and now the Vans Warped Tour is teaming up with Music Saves Lives to encourage the youth of America to give blood and save lives in exchange for the access. It's very simple, all the kids have to do to get On The Stage to watch most of the bands at Warped is simply donate a little blood - something we ALL should be doing anyway.
Everyone who is going to the Warped Tour in Pomona and/or Ventura, all you have to do is give blood and you will be given an All Access VIP pass that will let you go on any of the stages other than the main stage (unless a person with a laminate escorts you). You will also get a bonus treat or two depending on which location you go to give blood.
Also, people participating at Any of the blood drives will receive a pass, so if you slack and donate blood after the Pomona or Ventura Warped dates (6/29, 6/30, respectively) you can get a pass for the Home Depot Center show in Los Angeles on 8/25 instead.
So register, pick an appointment, donate, then rock. But whatever you do, don't miss the Circle Jerks who will get your heart going and producing more of that delicious blood so you'll be ready for your next donation.

I love all this swag you can get for giving blood lately. I got two Avengers tickets, a t-shirt, and a free Chipotle burrito last month. Too bad you have to wait 56 days to donate again. There were free Angels tickets earlier this month and now concert tickets.
well, not really concert tickets per se... the offer is only for people who have tickets. if you have tickets and give blood you get VIPed
but youre right, the freebies are great all around
