Could Hillary Have Picked a Lamer Campaign Song?

If you haven't seen it already, Hillary Clinton's campaign spoof of The Sopranos' finale was released today (and wow is that acting bad!).

It's purpose? To show that she and Bill are still together? Nah. The video helped announce her campaign theme song. And it's possibly the lamest campaign song EVER.

Move over, Bill and Fleetwood Mac. Here comes Hill and Celine Dion.

Yup, to appeal to all those kids and liberals out there, she picked the Canadian queen's "You and I." (Why? For the love of God, why?)

Of course, Hillary held an interactive voting campaign on her website to let the masses pick the winning song, but those Celine fans probably stuffed the ballot box. What was wrong with Journey's "Don't Stop Believin"?

Hillary, this is America. Democracy can always be overruled.

in one swell foop ...

a) she ruined the sopranos ending
b) made me barf and
c) reminded me to vote for obama

bravo hillary ... bravo ....

It should have been Elizabeth Cook's "Balls," but she didn't have the cojones to pick it.

Smart for a politician so divisive to choose a singer so divisive? Probably not.

And then this:

Celine Dion's not even American.

She's Canadian.

Worse than that, French Canadian.

How do you think this will go over in Iowa? In Tulsa, Oklahoma? If we can't even trust Hillary with the jukebox, how are we ever going to give her the bomb?

I love Hilary. Bring it on, I really do. Aren't you just kinda laughing and shaking your head, I mean she's brilliant and it's light and airy - just wait until the negative campaigning starts - it will make us all wish every commercial was like this (even if like this means pointless).

Of course Celine Dion blows. But at least she's neutral -- they surely could've landed zionists like RUSH or warheads like Nickelback.

Either would've been more apt for Robo-Hillary.
