Social Atelier Launch Tonight

social atelier to be sold in Fred Segal INFORM. THINK. INSPIRE. FEEL. CHALLENGE. INNOVATE. DECLARE. TRUTH.

This is the new wave of thinking in fashion. If we can be green in the way we think about carbon emissions, our cars, our homes, recycling and being more aware of how we act, then the next step is to think critically about how we dress.

Welcome Social Atelier, a new fashion line that is having their launch party tonight and will be sold in Fred Segal stores starting today. I met the founders Andrei Najjar and Yael Afriat at an LA Fashion Council event a few weeks ago and was inspired by their mission and innovative approach to fashion. Each season they are going to chose a different nonprofit to direct a portion of the proceeds to and for this season they have chosen the Solar Cooking Project.

Solar Cooking Project provides sun-powered cookers to Darfurian women in refugee camps in order to prevent them from having to go out and look for firewood, an activity that puts them at high risk for rape and attacks.

The launch party is entitled, "An Ethical Night Out" and will from 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM tonight at: Tandus Design Center + 5968 Washington Blvd., Culver City 90232

RSVP to events@emgpr.com or call 323/667-0206.
