I LOVE Culver City! But Ford's is way overpriced and a bit smug. Though it does fill the studio-exec-needs-a-cool-place-to-have-lunch-on-a-patio-but-doesn't-have-time-to-drive-to-The-Ivy niche. We all know where they are corralled while the rest of us have a great lunch (or snack!) at Tender Greens right next door. Plus, Tender Greens caters to the actual Culver City neighborhood and is open all weekend long, unlike Mr. Ford's place. Boo. Yay Tender Greens! (No, I don't work there, I promise.)

$5 for deviled eggs??? I like how it is plural when really it's one egg cut in half. I went once for lunch and found the food overpriced like these apps and pretty uninspired for so much hype over it coming to the CC area.

I have unfortunately been to this restaurant 3 times, twice for parties and once with a small group when it first opened. To put it bluntly, it sucked every time. Mediocre food, horrible service, bland crowd, weak drinks.

It still amazes me that Culver City is bustlng at all - it used to be dead after 5 or on weekends a few years back! Check out Wilson when you come back to the nabe - worth the trip.
