He's On Award Tour...

Oh, that Peanut Butter Wolf. Leave it to one of LA's busiest DJs to stick it to the digital music crowd by dusting off a week's worth of vinyl and taking his 45 road show to more than half a dozen of the most popular clubs in town.

Peanut Butter Wolf vs. LA kicks off this Sunday, June 10, when the vinyl maestro begins a seven day marathon of LA club gigs. The rules are simple: each night, he spins a different genre of music, ranging from 80s house to 70s disco. No song will be repeated. And his sets will be all vinyl.

LAist can't think of a better reason to dive into a week of club hopping. Though we must admit, seven days straight might be a bit much for anyone except the most hardcore. Still, there's something for virtually everyone during the seven day spin fest, and PB Wolf's expansive rare vinyl collection means you're likely to hear at least a few songs you've never heard before (even if you call yourself a fan of that particular genre).
