Tony, I'd only call it Little Armenia if you were in the area bound by the 101,Santa Monica Boulevard, Vermont, and Hollywood Boulevard. So, are you part of "East Hollywood" (not to be confused with "Young Hollywood" or a part of "Little Armenia?"

funny how the negative anonymous commentors like to pick and choose which parts of things they want to believe, and not believe. so "PJ" you believed that i stayed in my apartment for the first few months, but you didnt believe that current schedule of my post 10/06 days that i painstakingly laid out? typical. and you pretend like you dont believe the growth of the site (i know its hard for me to grasp too... That much in That short of a period of time) but its all true: i used to spend that much time at home, i dont anymore, the hits have been huge, especially in the last 6 months, and yes we do write a few times a week about LA resident, Paris Hilton sorry its not not the exact type of LA coverage that you'd like (hard to tell what you like since you dont state it). But I think it'd be silly to ignore Paris' imprisonment, especially when theres people like Sheriff Lee Baca who says that hes never seen anything like the circus surrounding America's #1 inmate. but feel free to start your own blog (if you dont have one already) and feel free to "load up" every other post with Paris stories and see if your theory is true. and then feel free to come back here and apologize as we continue to kick your ass at blogging. i'll give you a few reasons why we get the hits that we do - we cover a wide variety of topics, we have great writers, we have great photographers, we have smarter people here than you. three biggest stories today on LAist (most hits)? 1. Interview with Helene Elliot 2. Tips on Waxing yr Cooch 3. Donut Eating Contest so you caught our secret formula - middle aged female hockey reporters, pubic hair maintenance, and donuts although Google News does like us, the phrase "paris hilton" only accounted for 58 hits today. but the night is young! so feel free to lick my taint.

It is funny how the exact things Tony is proud of are the exact things are awful about laist since C.K. left. If you load every other post with the words "Paris Hilton" of course you are going to get hits. That accounts for the quadruple hits (if that's even accurate). This is not a sign of improvement but lowest common denominator pandering. And stating that "99% of this is done inside your apartment" shows how little you are actually interacting with the city, but that was already clear with the lack of actual LA coverage.
