Wow, you nailed it. I'm so glad that I wasn't the only one who thought that the whole "ceremony" felt more like a infomercial for "Transformers."

Winehouse rocked it, though.

Can't believe that MTV didn't "get" the whole "blog" thing - man, that's stupid. Blogs make and break artists, songs, movies, TV shows... what part of that doesn't MTV get? Have they ever heard of a guy named Perez Hilton? I bet he was front and center on that red carpet, all access be damned.

The Kids Choice Awards meets penis jokes.

And autobots.

Silverman made the show, well, non-boring for the first time this century. But she couldn't save it from continuing to be uneventful and commercial beyond recognition.

As hard as it is, the blame rests on today's lifeless, un-cool Hollywood culture and not on MTV.

Well, maybe MTV a bit too.

Would you like a little cheese with that whine? You're a blogger, not a professional interviewer. Get over yourself.

wow dude, do you work for MTV?

You know, I actually tuned into the much hyped movie awards to see if, like a dunkard, there would be even a slight gasp of a moment of clarity where they realized 2hat the first letter in the station's name stood for. But alas, it was not to be, and the sheer fact that the "movie" awards were being hyped as much as they were on what was once "music television" speaks volumes.

MTV to me is like the "once-lovable nerd that was cool because he was a nerd and didn't care" turned "got attention from the ladies, and totally changed his image and approach to life to maintain the coolness in order to stick with the ladies, but found that coolness is fleeting, but is still trying to keep up the facade albeit a crumbling one" guy.

I, for one, enjoyed the post, and agreed that it was teh sux0rz
