Sheriff Baca Claims Paris Will Be Treated Like Others, Then Explains How She Will Be Treated Special

we wish that shirt was real In a deft version of doublespeak, LA County Sheriff Lee Baca spoke out of both sides of his mouth today as he prepped the press and paps about what they can expect when Paris Hilton goes to jail on Tuesday.

In one breath Baca said that Paris will be treated like any other inmate at the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, saying that her food will be the same as the other women's food, her lockdown hours will be the same, and unlike rumors to the contrary, there has not been a special roommate assigned to the heiress... yet.

But then Baca laid down a series of statements proving that, indeed, Ms. Hilton will be treated very different than other convicted criminals. For one, he said that authorities will prevent the press and the paparazzi from documenting her actual stay. Officials will prevent Paris from "be(ing) seen in handcuffs ... or in the back of a police car, forlorn and in handcuffs."

She will also be kept away from the general population at the 2,000+ all-female jail, extra precautions will be implemented to stop any photos from being taken of Paris behind bars, and she might get her own room. Do all the other ladies get that sort of treatment? Uh, no.

Sheriff's officials have told The Times that barring any unforseen crowding, Hilton is likely to be housed alone.

Baca said Hilton will "experience her incarceration as all other women will experience it."

"She won't get better food, she won't get different lockup time or a different environment," he said.

Even with a system that handled the likes of O.J. Simpson, Robert Blake and other high profile inmates, Baca called Hilton -- and the circus atmosphere surrounding her -- "the most unusual ever in the history of the department." - LA Times

Camp Hilton crazier than Camp OJ? Why do we find that hard to believe too?

I hope this sets a president so if I were to ever “screw up” I will get the same lenient, preferential treatment.

And people wonder why the general public get angry about these things.

Sheriff Baca learned that double-speak from all that experience in working with scientologists while trying to help them gain some 'apparent' credibility ( since there is nothing credible about Scientology.)

He's really just another two-faced stoolie politician, like Romney.

Lee Baca, you are an ******. It is you that is giving her the unwarranted press. What, she was upset that she was was in jail and acting "different." WHAT THE ******??? I'm not even going to comment on that. A medical release over-ridding a judges order? Just goes to show you Lee Baca does whatever he wants. This time you got caught and just like I have been told by your employees (the most of whom are good people) gotta do your time. I saw you when I was in jail now I'd love to have the rolls reversed. Life just aint that sweet sometimes, is it Lee?
