M - Don't hate on the racetrack! I haven't been there in awhile, but I can vouch for the fact that it's not all about gambling. Think of it like this ... it's a really big bar/party which just happens to have horses running around. You can gamble if you want, but you don't have to. I bet they're going to Hollywood Park tonight, which should be awesome. I just wanted to say hi and give you a brief thanks for posting your adventures and destigmatizing this whole experience. I've been reading each and every one of your posts and I'm hesitant to admit that I too used to use the Jdate. I feel like I'm in a closet and half out with some people and deep in the closet with others...and the responses to the site always vary a lot but more people are open to it than they were say, even a year ago. My dad met his wife two years ago on the site and my current roommate is madly in love with a guy she's been seeing for about 6 months. It seems to take a few months to get the hang of the whole process but it sounds like you're doing a great job- crazy and normal experiences seem to be the norm. I'm currently dating a guy who I met on the site except he lives in LA and I'm over in DC...I wish Jdate didnt allow me to search for men so far away. Anyway, best of luck to you! Both guys you have right now sound like they could pan out to be pretty cool. (p.s: are you originally from the Boston area?)

Three weeks is long in comparison to my last bf. What can I say? When boys fall for single jew girl they fall HARD. I hope he doesnt have a gambling addiction, if he does though that would all make sense, I'm drawn to people with addictions.
